Counseling and Psychological Evaluations for Individuals Couples & Families

Couple Therapy Session

Jamie Dunn, LMHC, Licensed Mental Health Counselor

When life feels overwhelming, it can be hard to understand the next steps to take to break free of negative experiences.   I work to help individuals break down the challenging parts of life into more manageable pieces.  This is done by providing education to better understand the mechanisms that often maintain unwanted symptoms and teaching the skills necessary to increase confidence and result in more positive life experiences.  By taking things one step at a time, it’s possible to set yourself up for success to better manage uncertainties, challenges, and stressors.

While I have significant experience treating a wide variety and severity of mental health issues, I have a passion for treating individuals with anxiety disorders including, but not limited to, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Panic Disorder, Phobias and Generalized Anxiety Disorder. I am well trained in the implementation of Exposure and Response Prevention, the treatment of choice when it comes to anxiety.  I received my training while working at Rogers Memorial Hospital in both the OCD residential and outpatient programs.

I am also a member of both the International OCD Foundation and Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies.
