Our patients health and safety are a top priority at
Ames Counseling and Psychological Therapy
The clinic will remain open during normal business hours.
Please cancel your appointment if you become ill.
If you are ill or have been exposed to COVID-19 we ask that you call and reschedule your appointment. Please follow all CDC guidelines for self- quarantine. You will not be charged for cancelling an appointment for illness.
In case health concerns make it difficult for you to attend your appointments, please discuss accommodations with your therapist.
If your provider is unable to keep your appointment, we will contact you and reschedule your appointment.
We ask that you do not arrive early for your appointment. Clinicians will be making an effort to pick clients up at the scheduled appointment time to avoid contact in the waiting area.
If you are uncomfortable with being in our waiting room please inform our staff. You will be allowed to wait for your appointment in your car and to come directly into your provider's office when she/he is available.
Additional cleaning is being done nightly to address possible surface contamination.
If you have any questions, comments or concerns please share them with your provider.
This policy may change as the situation evolves.
